Twenty-four-year old Domonique Richardson has been playing netball for as long as she can remember.
The Underwriting Graduate Trainee at Chubb Bermuda, says netball is the first competitive sport she played.
“I enjoy playing because it can be such a strategic and challenging sport, which causes you to anticipate what will happen next. I also love netball because through this sport, I have developed some of the most meaningful friendships that have lasted for years."
A member of the Phoenix Netball Club, Dominique plays the Centre position with the Bermuda National Team.
Although she has no plans to retire from the sport any time soon, Dominique shares the legacy she hopes to leave on the court: “I hope that my efforts both on and off the court can inspire the younger generation to get involved and want to play netball. I want to be recognised as someone who was committed, dedicated and a team player.
The Bermuda Netball Association salutes Dominique Richardson.
